News on Orpington Town Centre

I wrote to you in March 2022 to notify you that Bromley Council had launched consultation on the draft Orpington Town Centre Supplementary Planning Document (SPD). The draft SPD provides detailed guidance to assist with the implementation of adopted Development Plan policies - Bromley Local Plan and the London Plan - that relate to Orpington Town Centre.

This consultation was originally due to end on 1 June 2022, but the Council has extended the consultation for a further month in order to allow more time for people to comment on the draft SPD. The consultation on the draft Orpington Town Centre SPD will now end at 23:59 on 1 July 2022. Please note that if you have previously submitted comments on the draft SPD, there is no need to resubmit these.
